7th IWA International Conference on Ecotechnologies for Wastewater Treatment (EcoSTP 2025)

The 7th IWA International Conference on Ecotechnologies for Wastewater Treatment was held from 23rd to 26th of June 2025 in Stockholm, Sweden. The conference aims to bring together researchers from different disciplines, technology providers, consulting engineering firms, utilities and other relevant societal actors to jointly discuss and explore the latest findings on processes, methods, and technologies for innovative solutions in a Water-Wise World.

Project partner LEITAT presented the latest work on microplastics removal from urban wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs) using microfiltration technologies.
Tackling microplastic pollution is a key step toward healthier ecosystems and more sustainable urban water cycles. We’re proud to be contributing innovative and scalable solutions to this global challenge.
