Microplastics in Water: Roundtable discussion

On 22 May 2025, MicroDrink​ project partner Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU) hosted an online roundtable discussion dedicated to the pressing issue of microplastics in water, in which the Upstream project also took part.
This event brought together experts and researchers to share practical knowledge and experience, with a focused dialogue on:
– Sampling methods
– Analytical techniques
– Instruments for the microplastic detection.

The event provided a valuable platform for collaboration and learning and helped to strengthen our collective efforts in the fight against microplastic pollution.
